Kaiser Study: Heart Risk from mRNA Vax is 6 x Higher in Teens Than CDC Estimates
The same study found that the rate of heart inflammation following vaccination with an mRNA Covid vaccine was ten times higher for males in the 18 to 24 age group than the CDC is estimating.
As reported by Jefferey Jaxen in the most recent episode of The Highwire, a major study conducted by researchers at Kaiser Permanente Northwest has found that males between the ages of 12 and 24 are at significantly greater risk of heart inflammation from both the Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines than the CDC is telling us.
Researchers assembled a cohort of patients between the ages of 12 and 39 who received an mRNA vaccine between December 2020 and October 2021. They followed the patients for up to 30 days after their second dose, tracking their medical diagnosis (ICD) codes while simultaneously searching their medical records for the words “myocarditis” or “pericarditis.” They compared what they found using this data collection method to that which they were able to uncover through the CDC’s Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), which searches for emergency department visits or hospitalizations using a select set of discharge codes.
Here is their conclusion:
“We identified additional valid cases of myopericarditis following an mRNA vaccination that would be missed by the VSD’s search algorithm, which depends on select hospital discharge diagnosis codes. The true incidence of myopericarditis is markedly higher than the incidence reported to US advisory committees. The VSD should validate its search algorithm to improve its sensitivity for myopericarditis.”
The increased risk of vaccine-induced heart inflammation was most striking for males in the 18 to 24 age group. The Kaiser study calculated the risk in this age group to be 537.1 cases per million doses, which is more than ten times higher than what the CDC is estimating. Boys between the ages of 12 and 17 had a heart inflammation rate of 377.4 cases per million doses. That rate is six times higher than what the CDC is estimating.
These alarming results, published online in late December, were summarily ignored by the FDA, which made the fateful decision last week to bypass its own advisory committee and approve Covid-19 booster shots for children ages 12 to15.
The Kaiser results come the same month as a study by British researchers found that the risk of heart inflammation for men under the age of 40 soars with each dose of Covid-19 mRNA vaccine. That study found that vaccine-inducted heart inflammation in this age group dwarfs the risk of developing heart problems from Covid-19 infection itself. Specifically, the British researchers found that the risk of heart inflammation for men under 40 doubled after the first Pfizer dose, then doubled again after the second dose, and again after the third dose.

Thank you for this great report. The estimated risk of death from COVID for people under 18 is about one in two million. That makes the risk of myo/pericarditis from the vax about a thousand times greater than death from the disease.
