She adds, "And every death is accounted for by cause and secondary cause - that’s an easy match to vax records. Autopsies not even necessary" Is there any way you can revise the letter to include this as a suggestion? My friend also notes that there are plenty of volunteers who would sign NGA's in order to help DiSantis organize and execute the effort
Thank you for this feedback. I deliberately avoided getting into specifics in my letter because I know that every state is different and will have different systems in place for tracking health outcomes and matching them to vaccine records. Every state, of course, has Medicare and Medicaid, which in Florida constitutes huge numbers. They will also have HMOs that may allow some data sharing with the right incentives. I don't know specifically about Florida, but I trust that the governor's team would be able to quickly determine the best options. Right now I think the focus should probably be on spreading the word and trying to get this request in front of him. I may be wrong about that.
Just as easily, the Florida Death data can be matched to the vaccine database, without the need for the autopsy data, although any autopsies done would provide more color on the death.
