You have hit home with me! As a dentist, I am DEEPLY disturbed by the about face the ADA has made on denial of treatment. In the 80s you would have been shunned or perhaps even disciplined for denying treatment to a known AIDS patient. In a rebuttal to the position paper supported by the ADA, a group of dentists (including myself) has organized and collaborated with a 'counter' position paper. We are in the final stages of editing, we present to our state dental society in mid January and then on to the ADA. Our goal is to uncover the funding of this leading organization to better understand how they could turn their heads to all the science that negates lockdowns, masks, denial of early treatment, informed consent and ethical practice of dentistry.

Well written and THANK YOU!

Thank you, Jessica. Please keep me apprised of developments on your end. I will report on them here.

And I think people understand that not all dentists agree with the ADA. We know there are many kind, compassionate, dedicated professionals practicing dentistry in the U.S. Thank God for them! I have had extensive dental work myself and don't know where I would be without the highly skilled dentists who cared for me. We just have to make sure the profession isn't taken over by people who seem to now be pursuing their own agenda, separate and apart from patient well-being.

Agreed! An additional part of our efforts is to 'rescue' the ADA from its capture. A lofty goal which likely cannot be attained. Or, we start a parallel dental society where dentists can actively discuss science without the fear of retribution when not following the narrative. The small group of us is struggling to find other dentists willing to back our efforts. If any are reading this, I hope you will reach out to me.

I think the parallel society route is where everything is headed, personally. Not a bad thing at all. We’ve developed way too many middleman layers and governing bodies. None of it is necessary, imo.

In Australia, it is ILLEGAL to deny service to someone on the basis of having infectious diseases, yet it is ok to discriminate against the unvaccinated!

FWIW, the ADA like so many other professional organizations, have gone woke on so many topics, that naturally they would go with this one too.

Thank you for sharing this. I have heard rumblings of the ADA's wokeness but have mostly looked the other way until this ethics paper was revealed. The ADA is just as corrupt as the AMA but I don't know why? Who funds us so that we must take a knee to everything woke?

> but I don't know why?

Institutional capture by leftists, cowardice by rest of membership, who should have yelled "do your political activisming somewhere else". Same as it ever was.

So true! Cowardice by the rest of our membership. I am witnessing this as I try to encourage other dentists to get involved with our communication to the ADA.

Out of curiosity was communicated to all Dentist and they know they can refuse treatment?

This information was sent out via email updates. The ADA is an optional organization that we can belong to as a dentist. Those who don't belong to the ADA might not be aware of this position. Similar to the AMA, the ADA is the largest of its kind and is supposed to be most representative of our profession.

Considered an open letter inviting others to join you in withdrawal from what has become a political activism organ?

Expand full comment

That is exactly what we are working on. It's just knowing how to present this open letter in a broad context that would reach networks of dentists outside the state in which I practice. I have been very vocal on my state dental society's Open Forum only to be demeaned and harassed publicly for not following the narrative. Dentists who agree with my comments will email me privately but only a dozen or so have been willing to step up and support our position paper to the ADA. Don't worry, I won't give up!

best of luck! consider cc:ing twitter figures who have tracked woke infiltration generally, like Chris Rufo, James Lindsay

There in lies the problem...Substack is the closest I get to online social networking. I believe Darby is going to help spread the word and one other author on Substack is interested. Stay tuned! And, THANK YOU for the suggestions.

Sometimes I feel like the whole world has joined a death cult and only myself and a few others have not left reason behind.

-It is the height of hypocrisy that pharmaceutical companies are given a permanent liability shield for all vaccines because government officials have determined that all vaccines are “unavoidably unsafe.” Yet those same government officials then turn around and demand that we take the vaccines because they are “safe and effective.”

Wow. Evil, Orwellian doublespeak on steroids.

How does the ADA define unvaccinated and vaccinated? Is it two shots, or two plus the booster?

I find their ethical stance untenable, and their refusal to answer questions reprehensible. Bet their sources of funding are more than questionable.

No wonder everyone hates the dentist.

How would these fascists feel if they didn't treat people who had aids or HIV?

Ohh that's not the same, this is the convid.

Mind you the dentists still promote Mercury amalgams and fluoride, both of which are not promoted in other countries because there is no proof of benefit, and known risks.

Covid is the scam that exposes who is a moron/sellout and who still uses common sense.

The clot shots are weakening the moronicron variant of humanity.

The NSW Australia Dental Association expressly advised its members against imposing either a vax paper or a neg test as a "condition of entry". Yet many dental clinics, including my former one, have imposed those conditions. I spoke to various health and anti-discrimination authorities. They basically said there was no law against those conditions, so they could impose them. In Queensland Australia, the govt allows businesses the option to impose those conditions.

Worth a legal challenge re: discrimination; I take it for granted Oz has the requisite law(s)?

Expand full comment

Oz has no law which specifically covers covid anti-discrimination.

We have not achieved any legal victory re the covid policies.

Are you aware of how fraught and expensive litigation in Australia is? Except for criminal matters, if you lose you have to pay the legal costs of the other party or parties as well.
