Thank you, Darby, for this insightful post. I had high hopes for Ron DeSantis, and he did seem to be taking steps to get to the bottom of the COVID vax debacle when no one else was, but over time he has disappointed, and your post has shed light on this. From this information, as well as from his flip-flop on the Ukraine war and his first response to the news of Trump's indictment, I now realize he's just one more RINO trying to get to power. I've voted for too many globalists in my lifetime--the Bushes, McCain, Romney--and I don't intend to do it again. The pandemic opened my eyes, and I will never be blind to their machinations again.

I have seen no compelling evidence, including none in the article, that DeSantis is fake. Just allegations, guilt by association, sketchy, double-standard reasoning.

DeSantis's alleged "flip flop" on Ukraine is extremely exaggerated. He did NOT retract his earlier, very righteous statement that pissed off the neo"cons".

His initial reaction to Trump's indictment is regrettable but understandable given that Trump has been viciously, childishly smearing & lying about him non-stop for months. DeSantis rose above it and never retaliated. But the guy's human, and he finally took a swipe -- an extremely tame swipe compared to the crap Trump throws at him like a chimp in a zoo.

Look into his time at Gitmo. He is not a good person at all. Which should be obvious as he is a member of the parasite class

Another allegation with no evidence presented. Since *you* are trashing DeSantis, *you* should provide compelling evidence. That's how it works in the honorable world. Don't expect people to "look into" this or that like gophers.

I told you what to look for. Im not doing your homework for you. If you want to know what I am referring to you will look. But clearly you are more interested in trashing me than doing some research

Nice try. YOUR smear, YOUR evidence. We're not your gophers. An *honorable* person with compelling evidence to back his smear would present it. I don't think you have any. Just smear.

Well, I frankly do not care if you are ininterested in looking into it or not. Can take a horse to water, but can't make it drink. All the info you could ever want is literally at your fingertips, yet instead of learning something, you are wasting time attacking me. Put the words DeSantis and gitmo in your search engine of choice. Its really that easy and is no different than what I would do.

So maybe RFK, Jr can drive his points home in a national spotlight, if he ends up running for President. I’d vote for him. I doubt he’d win the primary, but I’d still write in his name for President. I don’t care if he’s a “Dem, a Repub, or an independent”- he deserves my vote. Nobody that actually “wins the prize” for President is anything but a bought tool of sinister forces to subjugate the American people.

Expand full comment

I would vote for RFK, Jr. too. I think he actually would have a better chance if he ran as an independent. His goals are not aligned with either the Democrat or Republican parties, but they are aligned, I think, with the majority of Americans at this point.

You clearly have not read his climate opinions...which are as wrong as his vaccine opinions may be right.

The temperature of the earth's surface climbed for a number of years, until 2015. Then it stopped increasing, and in the past two years, has now decreased again. For those who are not already aware of this fact, it will likely become indisputable within the next several years that the activity of the sun trump's all human activity on earth, at which point the entire issue will become irrelevant, regardless of who is in charge.

Expand full comment

Yet you would vote for RFK, who publicly stated he would like to prosecute climate "deniers". He also said he knows "assault weapon" bans are unconstitutional, but he would sign one if a majority of Dems and Rs vote for it in congress. RFK sucks on every issue except Big Pharma.

This is a despicable article. DeSantis and Ladapo have done more for vaccine liberty and truth than any other governor and surgeon general, yet nothing is good enough so you attack DeSantis.

Ladapo could stop the shots, even if someone overrules him later.

He didn't.

And Desantis is just another authoritarian who is pretending to be "freedom" friendly.

you are spot on when you say there isn't a senator out there other then Ron Johnson who are demanding an investigation. it's senators like Rand Paul, who plays the good guy when interrogating Dr. Evil Fauci. Senator Paul as all of congress has enough information to have the bad Dr. hauled off in handcuffs. But do they do it? of course not, it's political theater. they use the, "look at me i'm the good guy going after Dr. Bad Guy," I could really use your contribution to my campaign so i can continue the fight. When are all of you* going to start railing against the source of the problem - ongoing ‘illegal’ creation of bioweapons, i.e. microbe gain of function research and development, which accidentally AND intentionally are leaked into the human population! Read BITTEN by Kris Newby. She says it all and documents it all: including how many facilities are in the US and where they are; the release of 100,000 ticks infected with multiple gain of function microbes into the natural environment to see how fast and how far they would travel - think about the exploding incidents of Lyme Disease; military shutdown of a US president who wanted to stop this ‘illegal’ research. Why is the US sending so much money to Ukraine? There are numerous facilities there doing game of function R&D for us.

I agree. It is very scary what's going on in these labs. There seem to be so many, and we really have no way of knowing what they're all doing. It needs to be stopped before it's too late. I just don't know who is going to be the one to stop it. Even if a U.S. president tried to put a halt to it, as Fauci has shown us, our deep state will just go right on doing it anyway. Agencies like the CIA are completely rogue at this point.

When it was considered to be career suicide, and way before any presidential angle had any meaning, deSantis was literally the only Governor to stand up against literally everyone (including Trump, Biden, Fauci, the CDC) and tell them they were wrong and he was going to do what the actual science said.

Just because he might also be interested in helping the rest of the US be as successful as Florida (a remarkable story) does not deprecate what he has done or who he is. I am not going to agree with anyone on everything ever. But I respect people who can make independent decisions and have the courage to stand behind them.

So I would be less quick to judge, myself.

Interesting article, thank you Darby. (Nice pseudonym.)

This contributes to the face painted DeSantis as a complex character in this stage play of life, playing the role of saviour and accomplice. Yes, this is possible, for sure. (I have some suspicion that Trump might be playing a similar role.)

Questions: why was DeSantis willing to risk his political life and not follow through to the end? I've read that DeSantis is in fact connected to one of the dark clubs (Skull and Bones? I forget which one) of the world which are associated with lots of bad shit.

Is he being coerced? Why did he appoint Ladapo if he didn't want to be honest?

Is the Grand Jury head fake to fake those controlling the narrative into thinking he will help whitewash the destruction even more than to fake the awake or quasi-awake, because 'everyone' knows that this is a great way to control the narrative. (Odd synchronicity. I'm watching 'The Noble Lie' and in it they disclose how a citizen's grand jury was co-opted by the DS. Interesting film, that amongst many many other things, discloses a connection between Bill Clinton and the bombed federal building. Not sure if you would be interested in this: A Noble Lie https://tubitv.com/movies/663685/a-noble-lie-oklahoma-city-1995?start=true)

I don't know why he appointed Ladapo, except to help him play "to the right" of Trump on the vaccine issue. All I know for certain is that if you wanted to appear to be doing something about the vaccine atrocities, without actually doing anything, you would impanel a grand jury. And that's what DeSantis has done.

Bzzzzz. DeSantis has actually done *nothing*? Please.

Hiring Joseph Ladapo *is* doing something *huge*. DeSantis gets full credit for everything Ladapo does.

Banning vax passports is doing something *huge*.

Keeping vax resistors from being fired is doing something *huge*.

Press conferences raising covid lies and vax dangers is doing something *huge*.

ETC

Think Pfizer is happy about any of those "non-actions"?

Please admit the jury is still out on allegations that DeSantis is the enemy. It's the right thing to do.

Yes, it is very possible that he is in fact playing a deep double agent role in the plandemic. His role of being THE hero plays perfectly with keeping the population in victim psychology mode: the hero is the one who saves the victim. And one of the reasons he was the only one. (It is wise to consider the Mad Max Thunderdome theme song: 'We Don't Need Another Hero': https://youtu.be/Gcm-tOGiva0.)

This hero can then go on to become president. Perfect psyop scheme to allow the Dems to burn, like a kind of patsy, and for DeSantis to rise up like a Phoenix. That his relatively obscure connection to the deep state via his alma mater makes him a nearly perfect operative.

Ladapo may serve a double purpose. He can take most of the heat if the staged push back really does blow up without too much personal damage with some good backtracking on the part of DeSantis. However, the most likely event will be that this doubles DeSantis's popularity as showing that his has the strength to oppose the group thinkers and wise enough to know who to pick as soldiers.

I agree with your contention that a grand jury is the standard practice to ensure the controlled narrative is extended and culpability is deferred.

Very clever. This really is a psyop war of words. I am reminded of the 'Battle of Wits' scene in 'The Princess Bride': https://youtu.be/rMz7JBRbmNo. "They were both poisoned." So funny. So true.

And here is an (sort of) appropriate song: 'Words Were the Wars': https://youtu.be/-XSlQtLuxgQ

Your article has asked me to think more deeply on this. As I worked through this, I strongly suspect that DeSantis is the controlled opposition native to ensure that the DS continues in the White House.

Here is a discussion of DeSantis as part of the DS via the knights of Malta. NOTE: when you go to this link, it will erroneously start with a picture of and title of Edward Dowd. Hit play and it changes to Pete Santilli doing a deep dive on DeSantis:

I had admired DeSantis for his tough stance during the pandemic. I lost my trust in him when the Rinos started endorsing him for the next Presidential election. This article just drives the nail in the coffin. It is extremely disappointing. Senator Ron Johnson and RFK Jr are the only ones now. They both have risked their necks coming out against the jab.

The way I knew it was nothing more than theater is the fact that the injections are still available. If DeSantis wasnt just grifting for 2024, and actually wanted to make a difference, he would have EO'd a moratorium on the entire program pending the grand jury's ruling. He likes to throw those around and play king when politically convenient, but when its a moral imperative, his inactions are very telling.

Ridiculous double standard. If folks are foolish enough to trust Big Pharma and Donald Trump, they have a right to take the shot. Once again, the asinine claim that DeSantis is bad because he doesn't do everything you want instantaneously, even though no governor in the USA has done more or even nearly as much.

You may be wrong. Your evidence & argument are sketchy. I hope you're wrong. Without compelling evidence, it drops to "smear".

"DeSantis is the R establishment’s choice for 2024. He has already aligned himself, oddly enough, with the Bush family."

I see such allegations by the Trump camp, but no real evidence. A pic of DeSantis standing near a former FL gov proves zip. A donation by an establishment creep who hates Trump proves zip. Trump got donations from establishment creeps, hired, nominated & endorsed them: E.g. Vax pimp Oz. DeSantis gets donations from righteous folks too, which also proves zip.

I think DeSantis is the real deal given what he's doing in FL. He's getting some establishment support not because he's fake but because they can't stand Trump. That's also true of many hard-core conservatives who backed Trump for years, like me. Tired of his F-ups, babble-bungling, "Safe & Effective" lie, the inflation HE kicked off by insisted on paying folks more to loaf than work, hired-nominated-endorsed 1 ass after another, cuddles psycho celebs like Kardassians & Kanye, played doctor in the Task Force meetings instead of bringing in real MDs & scientists to counter Fauci, totally unprepared for The Big Steal, never discredited "Q", walked his followers into an agent provocateur trap in DC, then threw them under a bus, pardoned drug dealers, celebrity toadies etc instead of J6 innocents and Assange and Snowden, did nothing to help them, not a penny to their legal defense.

The Trump camp has an excuse for every Trump F-up, while DeSantis is not only attacked for not being perfect, he's even attacked for what he does right, like hiring Ladapo 1.5 years ago, which no GOP establishment prick would do. But I see Ladapo attacked & smeared too by Trump-bots allegedly because he hasn't instantaneously fulfilled the entire vax-skeptic wish list.

You attack his grand jury because it's not going "warp speed". I've watched him a long time, and that's not how he works. He works methodically. So again, that proves nothing.

I sincerely hope that you are right and I am wrong. Right now, I am looking at the list of the governor's major donors. I can find no one on that list that would support bringing down Pfizer or Moderna (or Fauci for that matter). He has the explicit support of Wall Street, which in turn, supports the drug companies as long as the drug companies are profitable. Therein lies the conflict.

Expand full comment

Well, I've donated to DeSantis several times, 100s of $s , and I *do* support bringing down Pfizer etc. There are millions of us like that. Our donations add up.

Let's not forget he banned vax passports & firings, hired Ladapo, said he thinks we were lied to and the vaccines are dangerous to at least some. All highly damaging to Pfizer et al. Creates vax hesitancy & distrust of pharma & govt, which is *huge*.

Suppose DeSantis is the real deal, not a fake, just methodical. Then those donors are the enemy, and their donations drain the enemy's warchest. He'd be a fool not to take enemy money. I would.

If a Nazi donates to Trump, does that make Trump a Nazi? No.

I need more evidence than what you've presented. A lot more. But if you're right, I'll drop DeSantis like a hot potato. Sadly, that leaves Trump and Vivek, neither of whom I trust (Vivik appears to be hiding support for continued nationally suicidal levels of legal immigration). Or Pence & Nikki, who are the worst of establishment scumbags. I'll vote for Trump if he gets the nom, but holding my nose.
